Just outside of Jacobs Reserve, there's plenty to do. Soccer players of all ages have a soccer facility nearby, which hosts a youth academy, adult pick-up games, and the Houston Dutch Lions Football Club. Motocross enthusiasts have a dirt track and school also nearby. The city of Conroe is host to a number of fun events, such as the Montgomery County Fair, Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival, and the Texas Wildlife and Woodlands Expo.
